Joining Transgas in December 2013, John has the overall responsibility for all of Transgas’ operations. John brings over 33 years of utility experience from National Grid and Niagara Mohawk, a predecessor company. His more recent responsibilities were as Director Meter Services for Upstate NY and Vice President of Gas Operations for New England.
John began his utility career as a technician in facilities, power plant operations and gas construction, maintenance and supply. Upon promotion to management, he progressed through the ranks from supervisor to executive with assignments in gas construction and maintenance, gas planning, customer service, and gas and electric meter services. He has played a major role in implementing numerous improvement projects such as automated meter reading, field force automation, Drivecam (driver safety) and call center consolidation. He has also been a member of two merger and integration teams.
A graduate of St. Bonaventure University, John resides in Shrewsbury, MA. He is married and has three daughters. John enjoys watching and occasionally playing sports, spending time with family and friends, and traveling around New England.
Vice President Operations
Joining Transgas in 2005, Tim provides over 27 years of logistics, transportation, operations, and driver safety management experience. Tim has overall responsibility for the operations, maintenance, safety, and planning of the organization. As such, he oversees all daily operations, including dispatch, safety and fleet operations. Tim develops and maintains operational standards, manages all labor-related issues and ensures compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local rules and regulations.
A graduate of the University of Lowell, Tim has lived in Lowell for most of his adult life. He’s married and has two boys. Aside from being involved in numerous charities, he enjoys coaching basketball and soccer teams.
Vice President, Administration & Finance
Heidi joined Transgas in 2011 and applies over 28 years of financial, entrepreneurial and sales experience to oversee Administrative, Sales and financial matters for the company relating to budgeting, financial reporting, tax compliance, and corporate compliance. She prepares cost estimates, proposals, negotiates transportation agreements for LNG Transportation, Portable Pipeline projects, Equipment Leasing and Industrial/Commercial LNG projects.
A graduate of the University of Massachusetts at Amherst, Heidi is married with three children. She spends her personal time with family and friends, outdoor activities including: running, golfing, kayaking, and boating.
Director Dispatch Operations
Getting LNG in and out and to the right places at the right time is Ron’s responsibility. Joining Transgas in 2007, he applies over twenty years of experience in logistics, transportation, and driver safety management to accomplish the task. He has daily responsibility for a team of Dispatchers and dozens of drivers. He works directly with the Safety Director to track and maintain safety and compliance files, driver recruitment, and training.
Ron attended the University of Lowell. Outside of Transgas, he prefers two wheels to multi-wheels and is an avid biker. When he can get away, he enjoys mountaineering.
Tom joined Transgas in 2014 and brings 34 years of logistics, transportation, operations, and driver safety training experience. Tom is a safety professional and certified as a tractor trailer driver trainer. He is responsible for the development and implementation of safety policies and programs. He ensures compliance with all applicable safety regulations and oversees driver recruitment and training. Tom promotes a safe work environment for all employees based on company policies and procedures.
A graduate of the College of the Holy Cross, Tom resides in Andover, MA. He is married and has two daughters. Tom enjoys spending time with his family and walks and cycles for fitness.
Director Fleet, Facilities & Pipeline Operations
Since 1976, John has been combining his knowledge of mechanics with a deep facility with software in order to maintain the safety and efficiency of LNG as it is transported in vehicles as well as vaporized into pipelines. He is responsible for the maintenance and repair of all vehicles in the Transgas fleet along with the terminal property, buildings and associated systems. He provides classroom instruction to new hires and current employees on the safe handling and properties of LNG. John is also responsible for all portable pipeline projects.
John enjoys sports, especially golf, and he dabbles in photography, builds computers, and goes camping and hiking when he can.
